My Story
My dream since high school has been to open my own business. I have loved the thought of entrepreneurship. Being your own boss, having less limitations on your ideas, the happiness it gives me when clients overall health improves. The list is endless!
Growing up in rural Saskatchewan, there definitely was not a lot of schooling options. I had no idea what I was actually going to do with my life - I loved medicine, science and helping anybody I could. After looking into nursing and realizing it may not be a great fit for me - my aunt said one day "What about a massage therapist? They help people more than people know, but don't have the same downsides as working in hospitals." I thought why not? I applied, got accepted and started the program that fall! Without ever having a massage myself I started an advanced 2200 hour program, here in Saskatoon SK at the Professional Institute of Massage Therapy. Graduating early after 16 months I have worked beyond full time ever since and LOVE it. I have worked and trained in every work environment possible, with as many trainers and companies as I could across Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta and British Columbia. This allowed me to curate my business the exact way I wanted allowing the perfect environment for myself, clients and also my amazing staff. After completing two years of University Health Science in Edmonton, I transferred to Medicine Hat the Fall of 2020 during the COVID pandemic. Commuting between Calgary, I continued with schooling and completed a Full Esthetician Diploma, and Advanced Makeup Artistry Diploma with hair styling from the Esthetic Institute of Calgary and Trena Laine before starting my Business Admin Degree through Yorkville University. I have completed over a dozen additional certificates in esthetic training, essential oils and aromatherapy, massage add ons, laser therapy and more over the last 6 years and I have even more scheduled over the next 2! On behalf of myself and my three fur babies we thank all of our family, friends, and clients over the last 6 years who have supported this journey.
